A Return from the Depths

It’s been a long silence.

My last book—9 Lords of Night—was published in 2018. Since then, I’ve stayed busy behind the scenes: writing, building, grieving, designing. For a while, it was a quiet season. The kind where books grow underground.

Today, I return to the surface with something new.

cesartorres.me is now live. The site now features a fresh new design, more content areas, and more importantly, more ways you can pick up my print books, ebooks and  merch that I design. This new site brings together all of my work: the novels, the essays, the design, the thinking. This is the new center of gravity for my fiction and for the world of The Coil.

It’s also where you’ll find the first in a series of cultural artifacts tied directly to the books—starting with The Deities of the Coil Tee. The names printed on this shirt are not abstractions—they are characters from the novels: divine, dangerous, remembered. Their stories unfold across 13 Secret Cities and 9 Lords of Night, and will continue in Hall of Mirrors.

And yes: Hall of Mirrors is in production now.
It will be released in the coming months as a paperback and e-book, available on Kobo, Apple Books, Kindle, Google Play, and additional platforms through wide distribution.
