The Infrastructure of the Aztecverse: Why I Charted A Galaxy to Resist Oppression

For years, I have invited you into the worlds of the Aztecverse. Whether through the portals Clara enters in 13 Secret Cities or the quest for sexual identity of How to Kill a Superhero, these stories have always been about the struggle for agency against overwhelming systems.

Last April, that struggle became deeply personal.

I was laid off from my role as a Director of Product at a global agency. On that same day, my father passed away. In the months of grief and stillness that followed, the "meritocracy" of the corporate world was revealed for exactly what it is: a grift designed to view visionaries as replaceable components in a machine.

I decided I would no longer be a component.

Instead of just returning to the job market, I spent 14 days re-wiring my own world. I used fifteen years of enterprise infrastructure logic to interconnect five brand nodes—this site, my apparel brand LED Queens, and my specific narrative IPs—into a single, sovereign constellation.

Why does the infrastructure of a website matter to a reader of fiction? Why shoold it matter to fellow creatives?

Because in an age of digital serfdom, where platforms can erase a creator's life work overnight, Sovereignty is the only protection for the story. Most authors are told to outsource their "marketing" to agencies that don't understand their soul. I chose a different path: I built my own ecosystem. One that is fractions smaller than corporate systems, but one which favors life and centers people instead of profit.

By treating my websites as a living circulatory system, I have ensured that the Aztecverse remains uncolonized. This galaxy of sites is not a "sales funnel"—it is a tactical map of resistance against corporate greed and the status quo.

I am documenting the technical and philosophical "how" of this journey over at the LED Strategy Lab. If you are a creator, an artist, or a leader looking to build your own sanctuary, I invite you to join me there.

The era of waiting for permission is over. The era of the Sovereign Auteur has begun.
