Midnight Cobra Bodybuilding Tights (Limited Edition)

Midnight Cobra was the boldest nylon spandex release LED Queens ever made, and the last of its kind. LED Queens wound down in 2026 after nine years. These are the final pairs from that run—not reprinted, not remade, and not coming back. The full story is on the LED Queens landing page.

The design runs a deep solid blue that shifts between navy and darker tones depending on the light, with crisp white stripes down each side. It reads as 1980s bodybuilding and the polished line of ballet tights at the same time, and the side stripes elongate the leg.

Three pairs remain: one XL and two 2XL. When they are gone, that is the end of it.

Nylon spandex

These are not made in RealGrip, the fabric the LED Queens print-on-demand catalog moved to. Midnight Cobra came from a manufactured run in nylon spandex—a different fabric with a smooth, glossy hand and a tighter drape than the sublimated catalog.

Nylon spandex hugs tighter than poly spandex. If you are between sizes or carry significant muscle in the glutes and thighs, size up.

Frequently asked questions

Why are only two sizes available?

Because this is the end of a finished run. M and L sold through in 2025 and there is no way to produce more—the manufacturing behind these ended with the brand. What is listed is what physically exists.

Can I exchange these for a different size?

No. With one pair in XL and two in 2XL, there is nothing to exchange into. These are final sale. Please use the waist measurements above before ordering, and size up if you are between sizes or carry muscle through the glutes and thighs.

Do these ship outside the United States?

No. Midnight Cobra ships within the United States only.

How are these different from the spandex shorts?

Different fabric and different origin. The shorts are printed to order in RealGrip, a structured sublimation fabric. Midnight Cobra came from a manufactured nylon spandex run—glossier, smoother, and tighter in the hand. Neither is a substitute for the other.

Do these go transparent when I squat or bend over?

No. The fabric stays fully opaque through squats, deadlifts, lunges, and everything else.

What should I wear underneath?

For the cleanest lines, a thong, jockstrap, or dance belt works best. Boxer briefs and loose underwear will show. That said—you know your body. Wear what works for you.

How should I care for these?

Roll them on gently, especially at the ankle, to protect the fabric. Wash cold and line dry only—this preserves the sheen and the elasticity. Do not tumble dry. Keep them away from rough surfaces like velcro and concrete, which can pull fibers.
